Morpheus Pre & Post Treatment
PRIOR TO treatment:
1 WEEK BEFORE treatment, discontinue all topical products containing Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols,
Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Vitamin C, or any anti-aging products
10-14 DAYS BEFORE treatment, do not ingest blood thinning medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve.
Avoid these herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3 capsules
No sun-tanning or self-tanners 4 weeks prior to treatment- Includes spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.
2 DAYS BEFORE treatment, do not drink alcoholic beverages
Avoid bleaching, waxing, tweezing, or shaving in the treatment area.
If you have a history of Herpes or cold sores, a course of anti-viral medication before and after treatment is required. Please call our office for a prescription.
Start applying Alastin skin nectar daily 7-14 days prior to treatment 1-2 pumps to the face and neck twice a day (am/pm). this OPTIMIZES RESULTS BY PREPPING SKIN AHEAD OF TIME. THE NECTAR CALMS THE SKIN, REDUCES DOWNTIME, SUPPORTS THE PRODUCTION OF NEW ELASTIN AND COLLAGEN, AND ACCELERATES THE SPEED OF HEALING.
DAY OF TREATMENT:
Please come to the office without make-up, creams, gels, or lotions on treatment areas and where a V-neck shirt for face/neck and/or comfortable clothing for body treatments.
Excess hair may need to be shaved the night prior and men should be clean shaven
We will have you wash your face (if treating face) when you arrive at the practice
A topical anesthetic will be applied to your skin, and you will numb for 45-60 minutes and make sure you take the day to rest and relax.
24 hours After Treatment
Bruising, redness, and swelling may occur lasting days to weeks
THE FIRST 24 HOURS:
Only use lukewarm water and NO soaps
Apply Alastin Nectar 1-3 times a day with first application ONE hour after treatment
Apply Alastin’s soothe and protect recovery balm or Aquaphor
24-72 HOURS:
Continue only using lukewarm water WITH gentle cleansers
Refrain from strenuous activity
Avoid alcohol, fish oil, and aspirin (no blood thinners)
Refrain from using retinol or pigment controlled cream. We reccomend not wearing makeup for at least 24 hours
Apply Alastin’s skin nectar twice daily & soothe and protect as needed or a good moisturizer
72 HOURS UP UNTIL NEXT PROCEDURE:
Cleanse with gentle cleansers
Apply Alastin System twice daily & apply sunscreen each morning (SPF 30 +)
Wear Makeup as preferred
Restart Pigment Control Cream nightly (At least 2-3 times a week) and break again at least 48 hours prior to next treatment
